AB1 Evo Factory. 

At the forefront of motorcycle racing, presenting all our know-how in the most technological version at the top of its range, the shock absorber AB1 Evo Factory. In the version used in the victorious season Superstock 1000 Fim Cup with the rider Leandro Tati Mercado (World Champion 2014). An innovative shock absorber of the highest quality created by the racing department with the aim of supplying a product “ready to race”, designed and produced with the latest technology available.

AB1 EVO Rear shock

The cylinder is made in Ergal 7075 hard anodised and coated, which other than making the shock absorber lighter, disperses heat better, therefore guaranteeing excellent control even at high temperatures.
The screws and some of the internal parts are made in Ergal and titanium. The total weight of the AB1 EVO and hydraulic spring preload is just 2,410 grams.

AB1 Rear shock

The cylinder is made of steel reduced in thickness and covered with a special coating which enhances its smoothness and thermal exchange. The 46 mm diameter piston is CNC manufactured, with an anti-corrosion hard anodised finish to 50 microns and a special D.U. strip.


The reservoir is in Ergal, 50mm in diameter, coated on the inside and anodised in black, for functional and not aesthetic purposes.  Research has proven that the black colour disperses heat more efficiently than other perhaps more eye-catching colours.
The piston rod is 16 mm in diameter and coated in PVD. The heads and the lower joints are CNC machined in hard anodised Ergal.

AB2 Rear shock

Offers maximum versatility thanks to a special steel coated flexible pipe tested at up to 450 atmospheres. We are able to fit this in all motorbikes to maintain top quality, reliability and performance. For motorcycles where the resevoir does not fit directly under the rear subframe & shock area and needs to be remotely mounted

This shock has the same high quality features as the AB2 model, the only difference being that this one does not have an adjustable length feature.

Gas pressurized shock absorbers with internal floating piston. It's completely rebuildable. This shock is ideal for replacing worn out Original Equipment rear shock absorbers on older machine where the price point is a factor.

S01 uses the existing origanl brackets from your bike

S03 is for racing applications only where the ignition mount /key lock have been removed

This is a revolutionary project in the world of steering shock absorbers. An extremely progressive and symetrical product produced after many hours of testing and design studying. This is the first steering damper produced completely in Ergal, and distinguished by a high performance and low weight that is only 250 g. 

Nitrogen pressurisation system within the piston rod, utilising a 12mm rod that is made of Ergal 7075 with lapped surface and hard anodized.

 

Impregnation with PTFE improves the friction coefficient of hard oxide. The cylinder is made in Ergal 7075, it is hard anodized with lapped surface and with hardness of 600 vickers in order to reach the elevated resistance to wear.
The lapped surface having a smoothness coefficient equal to 0.09 RA that helps to decrease the friction. All components relating to movement are assembled on floating bushings that are self-aligning (without thread) and mechanical processing focused on a maximum concentration with tolerance of just 0.02 mm.


Low friction is realized by MUPO with particularly flexible geometry of lips. Excellent anti-wear characteristics. The main self-aligning piston is supplied with the sliding block in metallic D.U. covered with PTFE, loaded in bronze with a cut in “Z” to avoid deforming. 


The adjustment is made by internal cone shaped pins with calibrated profiles, and an outer 'click' type adjuster, creating a functional symmetry (left to right).

The Super Bike 46 EVO is available with a  ø 46 mm inner tube and equips the revolutionary cartridge K911, that with 30 mm ø pistons can guarantee an excellent progressive rebound, allowing “infinite” setting possibilities.

 

in order to personalize any need of the racer and with the new mechanic system allows varying the spring rate constant inside the front fork without replacing the springs!

This solution guarantees the possibility to obtain various suspension rigidities. It offers to the rider many setting possibilities in any conditions , wet or dry. 


Another important technical feature offered by system K911 is the possibility to modify the spring rate in a very short time, without replacing components. These modifications can be executed in a very short time,

For example : it takes few seconds from the race start to establish a new set-up of the motorbike if the weather conditions modify (dry-wet). In addition to this feature it is also appreciated for its numerous settings such as spring preload, compression, rebound, oil level.

To improve the smoothness, the fork inner tubes are covered with CVD (Laf. Diamond). Piston rods, outer tubes and inner cartridges are all hard anodized and lapped to decrease the friction coefficient. Dropouts are made from CNC Ergal with CNC technology through a study and a design with 3D CAD and FEM analysis for the proper sizing and maximum lightness. These forks are world class equipment.

MOTO 3 FORKS

This fork is developed mainly for MOTO3 category. The fork, with stanchion tubes of 38 mm in diameter, is adjustable in compression, rebound and spring preload. 

The fork MOTO3 is designed using Cad 3D with FEM analysis: the stanchion tube are covered in DLC (Diamon like carbon), the piston rod and the outer tube are hard anodized to reach the maximum smoothness.

The K911 is a new mechanic system that allows varying the spring rate constant in the fork without physical replacement of the spring. 

 

The 30 mm piston can guarantee an excellent progressive rebound for having an “infinite” setting possibilities.
